No; you don’t have to have any technical or coding knowledge to get the most out of this course. It’s designed for total beginners – even if you have no digital experience or marketing background whatsoever. Instead, there’s more of a practical and commercial approach. Plus it’s broken down into bite-sized learning content so you can move through each section at a pace that feels right for you.
Anybody is welcome to apply. This course is for total beginners who understand the importance of digital and need to upskill quickly to keep pace with a changing world of work. This makes it a great option for all-rounders from a variety of industries, in roles from customer service and admin to HR and finance. Long story short, if you will (or want to) work with digital channels, it’s a great introduction.
There’s just one assessment for this course. It’s a simple one-hour exam, with a range of question formats. The exam is administered by a third-party computer-based testing partner (PearsonVue). There’s a global network of testing centres, so there’s sure to be one near you.
The passing grade is 60%. A pass means you become a Certified Digital Marketing Associate.
One thing to note: if you don’t pass the exam the first time and wish to re-sit, there will be a small admin fee payable directly to the testing centre when you book in.
