You’ll learn the most important concepts and terminology, and the process of creating an online presence that makes sense for your brand. This includes a ton of smart yet simple learning content on web design and eCommerce.
Get to know the biggest and most important social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Find out how advertising on social media uses data to perfectly target audiences.
How do you deliver customer service online, across multiple platforms, and still give customers a better experience? This module gives you practical tips, including proven techniques and approaches, for handling social customer service. You’ll learn about reviews, negative feedback, reporting mechanisms, and how to handle online complaints.
There are lots of challenges in working with digital communications and eCommerce, especially as key jurisdictions ramp up regulation. This module covers the frameworks you can put in place to protect against real risks like identity theft, malware and hacking. You’ll also learn about important regulations on data security and collection.
Having the right digital mindset starts with setting challenging yet reasonable goals. Learn about S.M.A.R.T. business goals (that’s specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely). Cover the importance of KPIs (key performance indicators) in a digital context. Understand why the digital mindset means thinking digital first.
No; you don’t have to have any technical or coding knowledge to get the most out of this course. It’s designed for total beginners – even if you have no digital experience or marketing background whatsoever. Instead, there’s more of a practical and commercial approach. Plus it’s broken down into bite-sized learning content so you can move through each section at a pace that feels right for you.
Anybody is welcome to apply. This course is for total beginners who understand the importance of digital and need to upskill quickly to keep pace with a changing world of work. This makes it a great option for all-rounders from a variety of industries, in roles from customer service and admin to HR and finance. Long story short, if you will (or want to) work with digital channels, it’s a great introduction.
There’s just one assessment for this course. It’s a simple one-hour exam, with a range of question formats. The exam is administered by a third-party computer-based testing partner (PearsonVue). There’s a global network of testing centres, so there’s sure to be one near you.
The passing grade is 60%. A pass means you become a Certified Digital Marketing Associate.
One thing to note: if you don’t pass the exam the first time and wish to re-sit, there will be a small admin fee payable directly to the testing centre when you book in.
